A Notice to all Members
Added 2025-06-22 06:23:18 +0000 UTCI've been debating on whether to write this because quite frankly I am disappointed that someone after knowing my financial circumstances and how hard I work to try and make this patreon worth every dollar given to me would do this to a tiny artist but here we are I guess.
Not long ago I was made aware that one of you, my patron, has shared their session key with the website known as Kemono. For those unaware, Kemono is a website where they are given access to mirror the patreon exclusive posts of creators in order to leak all patreon posts shared to that tier, for free, for public viewing, and is continually updated so long as the patron who shared their session key is an active paid member.
To learn all this has been incredibly disappointing and I hope you who is responsible for this will willingly remove yourself from being a patron of mine, otherwise I will have to take more drastic actions to protect my patreon exclusive art and benefits.
To all my other patrons, thank you always for your kindness and for supporting me and my art. I hope we can continue to build a wonderful, strong and kind community 💙
My next patreon post will hopefully be a happier one as I have a few posts more to do before the end of this month!

With the greed of the world it really isn't a surprise, artists and creators have always been under valued as it is and this just adds another notch to that belt. I wish the site would get shutdown, but it's existed for a long time now and with it being hosted in Russia it means that it is outside of DMCA copyright. Even patreon themselves don't know what to do so they just don't do anything, nor give any advice or options to their creators who have been targeted. To say I'm stressed is an understatement, I'm upset, disappointed, frustrated and I don't know how I'm gonna sit and do art when I know currently it'll just get mirrored to that site.

Unfortunately this isn't the same as downloading and then sharing on other websites, others have tried to do takedowns and they either have their emails ignored or when they do get a response the website owner says that the website is hosted in Russia which does not follow DMCA laws and because it is labelled under as being an "archive" website basically it's just a big fuck you. Even if my page gets pulled, it would appear right back up because the session key the patron has given this site is active still, thus it would just appear again. This website has existed for a long while, since at minimum 2023 which was as far back as I went inside the Patreon discord server trying to see if anyone had any advice or options. Basically patreon has given up on dealing with this site and has not provided any help to creators. It's a shit show all round. Even the drastic measures I can take will just make things hard on everyone just because of one bad egg.

But it's so fucked that anyone uses it. Ugh. I'm so so sorry! I hope that person leaves and the site gets shut down or something. Take care of yourself too, cause I can only imagine how stressful this is 🩵

Is there anyway you can get your stuff pulled from the other place? I know that that Elo.elo had the same issues with their comics being posted on other sites illegally and was able to get them pulled. Maybe they’d be able to offer tips on how to get yours off this other site? I hope this kemono site gets shut down Let us know if there’s anything we loyal patrons can do to help.
