Small Update - Update 29.10!

After a lot of struggling on the phone my dentist told me to swing by quickly. Turns out I was right! I do have dry socket, so he compacted some clove fibres into it (like someone said in the comments it tastes like ass) but it is helping alongside painkillers.
I will do my best to work on the comic the next couple days, I just need to get my brain to calm down and not 'panic rush' and give myself some time to rest while also getting the comic completed.
Thank you for everyone's kind words and comments! After the comic is done I may slow down a little to give myself some extra days of rest.

Okay so I need to give a quick little update, I'm really sorry the NSFW Endhawks Halloween comic has been delayed, I've been dealing with a pretty bad art funk (that affected the comic) on top of that last Wednesday after spending lots of money to save a tooth with a crown back in August said tooth was pulled out (very unexpectedly and is my first tooth removal since my 4 wisdom teeth years ago), my dentist didn't really give me much aftercare instructions and in his hubris thought I'd be okay; turns out I'm not.
I accidentally gave myself Dry Socket, which I won't go into details (you can google it) but it's REALLY painful and today I just completely fell apart, it was just a little too much all at once so I've had to take the day off.
Cause of that I just wanted to apologise that the comic will be (fingers crossed) hopefully up by Halloween day, but that is also going to delay the end of month thank you artwork. I'm super sorry about all this I didn't really expect my tooth to be pulled out and for it to cause so much trouble! The flat colours are done I just need to do all the rendering, so if the quality of the comic is a little all over the place I do apologise its basically been the art funk + my very painful mouth causing chaos.
Thanks for always sharing kind words and being great, I hope that this months art has been okay quality-wise despite my art funk ^^;

2024-10-28 09:41:55 +0000 UTCThey can usually put a packing material in there which tastes really bad but dulls the pain and helps healing. I had four teeth out at once this year for braces (not something I expected to do in my 30s!) and it was a life saver to have the one that got bad packed up. Crossing everything for you that your dentist can get his act together and do the same!

2024-10-28 09:24:48 +0000 UTCI don't understand why my dentist didn't warn me about it cause it's so painful and can be somewhat avoided easily π« I was working on the comic literally right after my tooth was pulled (cause mouth was numb) then day two came and my mouth tasted shit and I was woken up at 6am in pain, like sir why did you not warn me?!? So going to ring him tomorrow see what he says. For now I've been taking ibuprofen and paracetamol round the clock to deal with it, but today it's just been a fucken mess so I just had to let everyone know what was going on and apologise for the delays π
