Taking December a bit slower
Added 2023-12-01 23:40:06 +0000 UTCSo, before I wrote this post my arm/wrist decided to give me the worst pain I've had in a long time, legit thought I was gonna have to go to the doctor for help (currently resting my wrist/elbow atm) and also because of the holiday season/end of year, I'm going to be taking December a bit slower than normal and I will be taking a full "break" between 18th Dec - 2nd Jan to celebrate Christmas/New Years (I'll still be posting the December thank you art, and possibly some Christmas Enho, and fingers crossed something for Hawks' birthday).
So I will be pausing patreon payments from Dec 2nd (today) - 2nd January 2024.
I haven't had a holiday in years, I haven't had proper time off in years, so this year I'm just going to give myself permission to take time off during the festive season. To, if anything, at least recharge my creative batteries, draw without a schedule, so I can come into 2024 hopefully refreshed and ready to grab 2024's art by the horns.
One of the reasons for this is I've been burning my creative wick almost to a little stump since about September and I am starting to feel it, and I worry that you all are starting to see it reflected in my art too, which is the last thing I want. So before I get royally stuck in an art funk I can't get myself out of, I'm going to do prescribe myself a dose of 'go slower, and take a well needed break'.
So yeah, I just wanted to give you all a heads up about it, and I hope that we all can attempt to take the festive season a little slower, if anything just to reduce stress a bitπ

Yes it definitely is! But I fear I may have to visit my physio lady in early 2024 :'D RIP my wallet she's super expensive. But yes I am enjoying it so far!~ I'm still drawing though, so I'll be sharing some stuff this month! But I'm just not in a rush and giving my wrist much longer breaks inbetween :3

Im probably beyond a homebody and just straight up hermit in the mountains now but haha i do like getting outside and walking in nature xD Although I guess it's currently cold weather for guys so going out isn't much fun :'D Hopefully your work picks back up once the new year starts?
