Indulge Zine - Top 3 Onsen
Added 2022-09-02 13:31:00 +0000 UTCSince the zine has already started to arrive to consumers and some of the contributors, I asked for permission if I can post my piece onto patreon (since it's behind a paywall) and was given the greenlight (just have to wait in regards to posting it onto social media).
This piece, as you can see had a couple different variants in concept sketches, mainly because I couldn't make up my mind on where to put hawks! Or more correctly how I wanted to put him in the piece. But I got there in the end~!
So sad story (warning now)
but this piece nearly didn't get finished/make it into the zine. 2 days before the deadline for this zine my cat was incredibly sick and sadly, had to be put to sleep. I was almost done with this artwork, Jeanist was the last thing to render, but grieving the loss of a pet when it had just happened had an insane effect on my art. I nearly had to pull from the zine because I wasn't sure I was gonna finish this, but I was so close to being done that I just somehow rush finished rendering Jeanist after asking the mods for a couple days extension, looking back I can tell that Jeanist doesn't look as polished as Hawks or Enji, but at the same time, I can't be hard on myself when I was literally grieving while trying to force myself to finish.
But yeah! This piece was a trip and a half to finish xD Was fun and was also my first time drawing Jeanist!
