My approach to this Discord is the following: It is not my goal to make a “new fandom space” for Check Please or my other projects. I feel like it’d be more fair (not to mention more inclusive) to leave that up to the readers. Instead, this is a place where I can share thoughts and ideas and users can react/interact with that content. This is in some ways an extension and replacement of my previous behind-the-scenes blog. Given the size of this fandom, this is the best option for me.
If you have any feedback or concerns, just drop a message here! (And please check out this previous post for more info on cross-posting from Discord, summary messages, etc.)
