Livestreams!

Hey folks, I'm streaming right now over on Picarto!

I should be able to stream tomorrow and one last additional time before the end of the year. It will probably be a very short stream, but I'll try my best. (I will be traveling for the holidays!) I will not be streaming this Sunday the 23rd, unfortunately, since I will be on the road.

Progress

This will also be the last progress report of the year!! Since my last update, I've been working exclusively on thumbnails and roughs for comics 3.17, 3.18, and one Ransom & Holster comic. These comics aren't particularly "plotty", which makes me feel more free while working on them, for whatever reason? Especially the Ransom & Holster comic--geez, it's like, how stupid can I draw two dumb Samwell graduates.

3.17 - Senior Thesis. Should finish up roughs for this comic during this evening's stream. Because this comic is one long joke (Bitty's A Terrible Procrastinator And Will Do Anything To Avoid Academic Responsibilities), it was easy to write. I!! Love!! Humor writing! When I pulled the first draft script of this comic out of my master script for Year Four, the spine and meat of the comic were already in place. The hardest part??? Drawing new poses!! Bitty has to wrestle like, 3 hockey dudes!

3.18 - Spotlight on ERB. This comic has been tough. It's a lot of exposition and set up. While I'm enjoying the narrative device I used to convey this exposition and set up, this is definitely one of those comics that I won't feel great about until I'm done. (I'm not very confident in my non-funny writing. :^)))) But, there are still a few twists in there.

R&H - This....is such a dumb comic. But I did run into a roadblock!! That I've now, thankfully moved past. Basically, I took out the last 3 pages because they were way too weird, even for a Ransom & Holster comic.

I'm 10 or so comics away from being done with Year Four. To put that in perspective, I was drawing the lineart for comic 4.9 Whiskey in October.....So, uh, I'll be drawing the last pages of Check Please around March/April? 8^)
