Poll: Would you want to have your character featured as a background cameo?
Added 2024-09-05 21:37:45 +0000 UTCHi folks! We're getting back into the swing of things with the next updates for V0.5.1, but in the meantime we wanted to fly this question for you all to get your input.
As we continue developing On Your Day Off, there are going to be future scenes where characters will be standing/doing things in the backgrounds of the smaller sequence images, as well as characters featuring as profile pictures in a hook-up app. Because there's going to be a large number of "cameo opportunities", we wanted to see if there was any interest in contributing further financial support in exchange for having your character featured as a background cameo.
Note: This would not be a cameo as part of the main cast of characters with a speaking role, as those characters have already been established/identified.
For an example of how your character would be depicted, check out the attached images—these are sequence images currently in the game featuring background characters in a "sketch" quality.
The idea for this is that you would "buy a cameo spot" with a 1-time payment (probably on a separate platform), and not only would you have your character featured in the game, but you'd also receive the high-resolution file of the image that features your character. We would likely have some limitations on character designs (and it's possible that there might be multiple images that feature the same characters), although we'd first like to gauge your interest (and get a sense of how much would be a reasonable amount to pay) before we pursue this further!
