Doodles - Crystal Kingdom TENTACLE TIME

I did this piece back in October 2020 for the Crystal Kingdom Adventure Zone graphic novel. I don't actually know if it made it into the book. I also haven't been paid for it yet, which is WILD. Hoping it comes through in the next couple weeks. I'm not gonna vent about all that here because I just wanna share the art. If any of you have the GN maybe you can let me know if it made it in or not. Finding it hard to believe that they'd go to print without paying the people who are actually in it.

2021-07-13 23:51:13 +0000 UTCThe first few novels had a really restrictive contract and artists were underpaid; the callout was happening right as I was accepting the work for this one. It's part of the reason I accepted even though they couldn't provide a contract up front; my thinking was "well they just got called out on socmed and had to respond to that so there's no way they'll mess up again right away, right?" Feeling a little silly now lol
