So, these are coming in at a confusing place, so let me explain.
When I first started this comic, I thought of original works very differently from fan works. Tagging for content is incredibly common for fan works, and I felt comfortable with giving those warnings, since even if I "spoil" content I've created in a fan work, it doesn't affect the canon and experience of the original work. But I've felt uncomfortable giving such specific warnings on original works, since they can have the affect of spoiling the plot. I discussed it a little in a twitter thread here, so I won't repeat all my feelings.
Ultimately discussions on that thread lead me to the conclusion that even though I don't need them and prefer not to have them on original works, it's not a bad thing to have them as an option for people who need them. I thought a long time about how I could present them for people who need them, without accidentally spoiling people who don't; Patreon puts all the text in the emails, for example, so it would be easy to read by accident if I put it there. So, I came up with this kind of silly-looking solution.
I don't think I will give such spoiler-y summaries of the content in the future, but since a lot of folks are already reading who might not have been expecting some of these things, I wanted to give extra info.
The story for this comic has lived in a weird place in my head for a long time now, and is in a lot of ways very personal, so I think that's why I missed it needing these warnings for a long time. I forgot that people won't all experience it the same way, and no one else will have the same experience with it that I'm having while making it.

I'm glad you did that, i had to stop reading an original comic i really liked lately because of a topic i just can't read. I feel so much safer now that I saw your content warnings, i can read peacefully now. Also, to be real if we check tw for an original comics on day one but the things refered happen, like, months before, chances are we forgot about it and can still enjoy the surprise, a good surprise for sure! Thanks to the warnings! Anyway, thank you!
