A monster has been picking off mers, so King Jack sends his best man to find and manipulate the creature, so they can trap and kill it. Will empathizes with the monster's other-ness and loneliness and uses it to draw it close, offering companionship. Unfortunately Will falls into his own trap when he begins to feel a strange kinship with the monster...
I decided to do a new take on mer!hannigram with Will as a traditional sparkly merman and Hannibal as a more monstrous fish man~ Hannibal is based on artistic interpretations of prehistoric aquatic dinosaurs :)
