2021-03-15 09:06:38 +0000 UTCThey'd be color matched to the environment, but the shapes of them are inspired by organs and bone; they are made of the material they emerge from (so ground if on the ground, wall if they're on the wall, etc) but they move like they're on the inside a living animal, if that makes sense. It's hard to convey in the comic lol, I can only really think to show wriggle lines and let you folks put the movements together~

I always imagined them like black inky roots up until I read the "wall gore" statement :D (I didn't see all the doodles or art outside of the comic yet. If this is shown somewhere, then I'm very sorry!)
