I saw a post on twitt recently saying some folks were tagging these kinds of illustration as trans rep, and agreed that it really didn't fit into that category; one of the suggestions for tags was "intersex omegaverse" and I was thinking about using that, in addition to "fantasy intersex"? I honestly really dislike the term "cuntboy" which I know is more popularly used. It's been awhile since we discussed this kind of tagging here, most of you were probably here for it but I know many weren't, so figured it couldn't hurt to hear some opinions about that again.

2021-02-12 00:58:57 +0000 UTCI LOVE alternative anatomy!! It is a tricky thing to navigate as far as tagging goes, though, I agree. I think using alternative/fantasy anatomy as a tag can work. Cuntboy should definitely go the way of the dinosaurs, as should reverse futanari, but it's really hard to find a tag that is both descriptive, mute-appropriate, and easy to use for people who DO want to find this kind of stuff. I know "intersex" isn't -technically- accurate, but I think it gives a good heads of up of what to expect? Even as a trans-guy who ADORES alternative/unconventional/non-traditional anatomy, I don't know what the right answer is. When tagging this in fic, I would often tag it as "[Character A] has a penis, [Character A] has a vagina, yes both." Love love love seeing this kind of anatomy, especially by your hand!! Please keep it up, even if the tags are tricky!

Some (like me) really enjoy it, while others find it to be dysphoric. I always appretiate that you're very thoughtfull about these kinds of things. Especially considering that there are artists out there who just kind of throw caution out the proverbial window when it comes to kinks and it's really at the cost of a lot of ppl who want to be included in nsfw spaces without being objectified or fetishized. (myself included) There are some ppl who conflate "we are sexual and want porn too" with "please draw dehumanizing fetish porn of us and call us slurrs." 🤷 I'm use to it but also tired. sorry for wall of text. TD;LR thank you.

Yeah, I definitely get the same vibe as you; some guys will enjoy futanari porn and at the same time will make fun of trans women, it's so weird and gross. Also re:trans anatomy, I'm definitely drawing inspiration, so I'm glad you like it! I realized omegaverse would be a good place to experiment with drawing stuff like this without worrying about making mistakes that might make folks too uncomfortable; like, for example, I tend to focus a lot on penetration in my smut and I know there are sensitivities about that that vary from person to person, and I'm not sure I should be playing around in that space. So yeah, hopefully my stuff stays enjoyable and doesn't cross any lines for anyone~

Like, I get how it became a fetish term but if the idea is that we should be tagging more thoughtfully and respectfully, I think that's one that we could rethink a bit.

The only thing I worry about is that "alternative anatomy" isn't specific/descriptive enough, whereas using something that includes intersex implies they will get a combination of human genitalia; I've used alt anatomy tags in things like, alien and monster stuff. Basically, I'd like people to know they will probably see some variation of a vagina when they click through, but I don't want to have to tag "vagina" every time. But I definitely know this solution isn't perfect and will consider this option :)

2021-02-05 21:54:03 +0000 UTCAs a trans guy I'm not entirely a fan of the word "cuntboy," I also don't really like the terms "reverse futanari" and "reverse trap" either. Ppl like to argue that futa and trap is something distinct from trans ppl but something about that rubs me the wrong way. I'm not gonna go into a foam-at-the-mouth rage over ppl using the terms, and since they are more common terms for kink tagging they can be hard to avoid if you are looking for trans porn. There's just something overal dehumanizing about the terms imo. Like we're fictional creatures as opposed to actual people. It's a weird fine line with lots of grey area and I'm not about to police/kinkshame over it provided that someone's kink doesn't boarder over into irl mistreatement of trans ppl. That being said, I do think intersex is probably the best tag here. But I can't deny that Geralt's genitals in this image also bear resemblance to trans man anatomy late into hormonal therapy (sans the clitoral hood) and I couldn't help but enjoy it on some level as trans porn. I take what I can get. 😅

And this isn't intersex, either; this is not much like what real intersex people are like. "Fantasy intersex" is the best of a bad lot, but I'd suggest just using "alternative A/B/O anatomy" or something similar if you need a tag/warning for this in the future.

2021-02-05 21:09:29 +0000 UTCi love intersex omegaverse stuff like this!!! thats the term i see overwhelmingly (i think fantasy intersex is a good distinction), i cant say ive ever personally seen "cuntboy" used for these specific kind of works but i dont dislike the term. i know it's pretty divisive so fantasy intersex omegaverse is probably better!

Fantasy intersex also just seems like a way better fit in this case anyway, and I'd definitely stick with that! THAT BEING SAID ...this piece is so amazing!! 👌👌👌💦💦 I always adore seeing alternative anatomy and you always do such GORGEOUS work with it!!

As a trans man, I use “cunt” to describe my own anatomy, and I use it in fic as well, but “cuntboy” is just... Not It. That being said, I really love this doodle, especially Geralt’s expression and the alternative anatomy you chose!
