I'm really really happy with how the window effect came out, and a bonus is the raised lineart on the back view which kinda looks rad~
I have to fix some errors in the file before I can consider heading into production; I forgot to flip the base art, plus I need to make some tweaks to the white layer on the window so it's less visible, and adjust the murder husbands' faces since they're harder to read when they're printed so small. The alignment of some of the pieces is also slightly off, but that may be something variable in the production process and maybe I'll just have to live with it lol.
I'm considering closing down regular shop orders and putting up a preorder for just this standee, so that regular items and preorders aren't mixed together.
I'll give you folks advanced notice for when that will happen at least a few weeks before it happens, so you can set money aside for it if you want it; I'm going to stick with the 55 price tag, and shipping will be about $5 for US addresses and $17 for anywhere else (I'm sorry!)
I decided, for now, I won't be doing a simplified version, mostly because I'm already pretty stressed about the time and money that'll go into producing and shipping one version, and I really wanna focus on getting it right.
This preorder isn't going to happen for awhile!! I need to fix the file and then I want to possibly run a second prototype, plus I want to make sure my helper has plenty of time to ship these quickly, so I might wait until summer!
