Just to answer your note: I've been trying to avoid the wendigo term but I know it's an easy shorthand for the stagman for a lot of folks so I don't really correct them, but I've been thinking maybe I should start, since folks keep using it... Plus, elements of the show canonically use it, so it's hard for me to tell off other fans for it when the supplementary show material is really the part that needs correcting. This is part of the reason my dream casting would be native Clarice, along with some actual native consultants, so that the use of the lore doesn't feel so out of place and could be treated more accurately/respectfully.
