Special Requests on the Physical Rewards!
Added 2019-11-21 04:38:27 +0000 UTCHey folks! Just wanted to make a quick update to say I've noticed belatedly that there were a few special requests in the comments on the physical rewards, and I'm super sorry but I won't be able to meet most of them!
When I collect the survey info for rewards, I use the fields where you've chosen your reward to determine how many I need to order/make, and when I'm filling the envelopes I display the fields in the way that's easiest to make sure the correct rewards go in the correct envelopes. There are over 500 folks who are getting rewards this time, so, I had to keep the variations in the rewards to a minimum, which is why I only listed a few combinations as options, since accommodating 500 more specific requests would get really daunting. Not to mention, I would have ordered/made an incorrect number of rewards, since folks are asking for less/more of particular designs over others, or wanting to add things that they didn't include in the survey answers.
I'm really really sorry if you get your rewards and are disappointed! That's why I wanted to let you all know here, so most of you will hopefully not be surprised when you get your envelopes. I'll try to simplify things next time, mostly to lessen the amount of sorting work for myself and hopefully make this process go faster, but also so everyone hopefully feels more control over what they're getting.
