Added 2018-12-19 18:03:00 +0000 UTCI tried not to tromble around in actual race issues or draw any parallels in this, but I could have fucked up so please feel free to yell at me. The influence is mostly parallel to Will's treatment in the show (creepy loner dude who can do some real creepy shit with his brain and might turn out to be a serial killer) as well as the actual persecution of witches (which is mired in misogyny and so I know it comes off a little weird when applied to a white cis man) so I tried not to wallow in it too much. People don't like him because of what he's capable of in their understanding of witchcraft, and for shit like what he literally just did which only confirms it more for them. I hope that's clear :)
