Bonus - We Drown

I also wanted to share this artwork I made as a gift for someone this christmas~ I picked the end of The Love Song of J Alfred Prufrock and then I also made a Leyendecker study of it because I want to draw beautiful men like Leyendecker orz Which is against the point of the poem a little because it's about a shy old man but it's my favorite because I also read it as just... a person lacking the nerves to take a leap for fear of what might follow it. I think about it a lot.

"The Love Song of J Alfred Prufrock" is one of my favourite poems of all time, and I agree with you that it holds just as much meaning for a younger person as an older one. I also think that the simple, subdued, almost reserved beauty of the portrait works fantastically well with the tone of the verse.
