Prompt - BibsKiddo: Have you ever done a reverse au with hannigram? Meaning Will Graham as the psychiatrist (and serial killer cannibal) with still the same more casual look, and Hannibal Lecter as the FBI profiler, trying to wear beautiful suits (he tries, but his salary can't afford them). Preferrably SFW - I really love reverse aus bc I it's very interesting to see Will Graham being the besotted one for Hannibal; just the idea is very charming to me. If you want an idea for a scene, maybe a reinvention of the ''smelling'' scene, but Will smells Hannibal more like a dog would, like little sniffs.
I tried to imagine what Will would wear if he had millions (billions?) of dollars in multiple bank accounts and I decided maybe he'd still dress in expensive clothes but really boring XD Meanwhile Hannibal dresses in cheap clothes but still tries to be more fashionable, and spends 3 months of his salary on fancy aftershave XDD Also I figure Hannibal would invest a lot of his time into things like this: https://www.gq.com/story/tailoring-tricks-for-cheap-suits He probably wouldn't have had the chance to develop the same hobbies of drawing and music but maybe he's really good at doing his own tailoring :3
It's interesting to imagine the change in dynamic based on their clothes... In canon Will probably had trouble getting over the hurdle of Hannibal's clothing (Hannibal helped him by dressing down at their first meetings) because a kid who grew up broke would probably not have a lot of respect for people who blow tens of thousands of dollars on an outfit. I could see Hannibal, in Will's place, disrespecting Will because he can easily afford the things Hannibal wants but chooses to dress down all the time. Meanwhile Will looks at Hannibal's cheap clothes the same way Hannibal looks at Will in canon and is like "I wanna dress you in the nice shit, baby, come murder with me."
