2017-02-18 15:27:07 +0000 UTCIt refers to both the bonding and the marriage; more correctly it's that Will is still technically married to Molly through all the smut parts, but it can also be seen as a kind of infidelity that Hannibal and Will were bonded and Will went off and married Molly at all. I never had serious issues with the fact that most fics post wotl don't go out of their way to secure divorce papers before Will and Hannibal start boning down but I know some people do, and I know others really dislike that the marriage happened at all and would view it as Will cheating on Hannibal, so that's what I had in mind when I added the tag.
