I started doodling this and it took a dark turn lol... I hope that you don't mind that they're kinda the bad kind of witch o-O;;;; I'm playing too much skyrim haah
My headcanon is that Will is trained in witchcraft in an academy in a large city, focusing on the light arts, defense and healing; later he joins an armed force that roams the country wiping out threats. While investigating rumors of a monster that devours human flesh, the force encounter the powerful rogue witch Hannibal, a foreigner who escaped from slavery and became a master of the dark arts, and a cannibal. He slaughters the rest of the team easily, but finds himself evenly matched against Will. After a ferocious battle that leaves them both drained and near death, Hannibal is surprised when instead of attempting a final strike, Will instead requests apprenticeship. It turns out Will had been quietly and increasingly unhappy and bored in his life working for the law, and meeting Hannibal is the the most exciting and interesting thing that's happened to him since he first joined the academy as a boy. Hannibal agrees, because he feels the same about Will~~~ And then they become an absolute nightmare for anyone who treads on their territory :)))))))))
