Possible email blast upcoming
Added 2017-01-30 19:22:39 +0000 UTCHey all, so in my recent post I let you guys know I was updating tier costs; it turns out that old posts DON'T automatically update, and so I'm going to have to go back and edit them all manually, one by one. I won't be able to do them all at once but I'll try to do them as quickly as possible, and will hopefully finish this week.
As I've heard from others in the past, when I moved a post down to a different tier, an email notice has gone out for it to everyone subscribed to that tier. Which potentially means that I'm about to blast you guys with a few hundred emails for old posts. I literally have no control what Patreon sends out via email to my patrons, and I usually have no idea they're doing it. However, something you CAN do, is go change your settings and turn OFF emails for me until I can get through all of them, which I hope will be by the end of the week. If you do that, you'll miss the notices for this weeks' posts, but they'll still be up this week as normal, so you can just load up my most recent posts to see them throughout the week; I normally update around noon, west coast time :)
Sorry again for the inconvenience! This website has been a blessing but man I wish it worked better!

Let me know if they actually send all those emails lol, I have no idea whether it's actually still a thing that's happening or not :P

2017-01-30 19:53:03 +0000 UTCThere's supposed to be something for that but it's still in beta and I don't have access yet. I've been sending them help desk emails though; they've been polite but not super helpful. The problem is I think other people aren't having the same kinds of issues I am, since everyone uses their Patreon a bit differently; apparently I upload more often than 95% of the rest of Patreon so I could see how a mass post editor would seem like a waste of time to them, for example. Plus I'm not really their preferred demographic :P

2017-01-30 19:46:26 +0000 UTCIs there a creator forum where you can raise these types of issues so Patreon can address them?
