I pictured this like an episode, where maybe smalltown cop Will is trying to figure out a series of gruesome murders that look like animal attacks but with human teeth; Mulder hears about it and wanders in with his Wendigo X-file in hand. Will's good friend Hannibal isn't happy about that, I WONDER WHY.
And then the episode ends like this:
And the cannibalistic monsters run away together and of course Mulder and Scully are left with no evidence and no witnesses. AGAIN.
