I wasn't especially fond of Jack either but after the series ended and I gave him some thought, I ended up liking him a lot; he's very flawed and has made a lot of mistakes but he's a guy who realized he's squandered pretty much all of the good things he had in his life and has so little left to lose, and I really feel for him. I've actually come around on most of the characters in Hannibal; I even love Freddie and Freddie's awful. The only one I really hate is Mason ugh uck >:P But yeah hehe, thank you, I'm glad you're enjoying Jack here and my anime Beverly XD

I have two warring opinions of Jack. I don't like his character that much, but I adore how he is played and how you have gotten his temperament here just right. ^^Also, I remember that you said you cannot draw Bev - and I disagree. I like the way you have done her, it suits her so well.

Normally coffee shop/cafe AUs bore me to tears but I have been laughing the whole way through this so far and I'm excitedly looking forward to more! XD The last panel made me genuinely laugh out loud like an idiot. Will is such a delightful little shit. <3

Okay cool! This is really good stuff for me to keep in mind; I've actually got plans for this beyond these 17 pages where I try to expand out from the tropes a little and try to make something atypical, but it's still a little rough, so even general feedback like this really helps me think about what I'm doing with it. I've also been thinking about tone a lot, how Wayfinding is more serious and these ones are more comedy, and how I should try to maintain that diversity in the future (I was considering doing something a little goofy for the next nsfw but I hadn't decided for sure yet hehe). But yeah even general feedback like this is really useful to me; if I ever get to a point where I'm only making some super niche weird thing that I like but no one is actually enjoying it then I wouldn't be happy about that, a lot of my motivation for art is being able to share it and seeing others' enjoy it~ Thanks!

Oh by in general I really did mean in general. Regardless oh who is writing or drawing it I'm not a fan of the coffee shop au because they're all the same and it gets boring for me. Nothing against this one at all. I'm still reading. Just hoping the next few set of comics capture my interest. But like most will say it's your patreon and I'm along for the ride. If I get terribly bored I'll say before I jump off. But you got me until Wayfinding ends so I wouldn't pay me much mind.

I would have never believed it but I AM SO ON BOARD this AU. The tone is so perfect and in keeping with the way I imagine the characters that it's completely believable. I was laughing waaaaaay too loudly (rudely) on the subway reading it :) Can't wait for the next pages!

Can I ask for your feedback about the comic? You can send it to me via message if you're uncomfortable critiquing in public. I ask because I think it's really important for me to hear negative feedback as well as positive, since if all I hear is positive feedback or silence, I'll just keep making the same decisions in the future. Plus, so far I've usually only gotten to hear negative feedback after someone has already decided to leave the Patreon. So it would be cool to hear :))
