Updates and previews~ March week 1
Added 2016-03-07 22:01:24 +0000 UTCHey everyone! I've been hard at work in March already, and although most of the stuff is real backend and not interesting to see previews of (script writing, thumbnailing, etc) I cobbled together a few previews for a few things that are a little further along.
Some early lines for the fanart tier~ For some reason it's been a vampire week :))
I've also been working on the Hannigram coffee shop AU; since it's a lighter tone than Wayfinding I've been letting myself draw them a little sillier and it's making me so happy~
Also Bev is in it but I can't draw Bev real well yet so please be gentle
Short update this time! This week I'm wrapping up this month's page for The Dirt Crown, finishing a few more illustrations, and I'm going to start inking that Johnlock vampire AU comic that I'd like to start releasing next month, so hopefully I'll have some previews for that by the end of the week! I've also gotten started on the thank you cards and am hoping I'll get most of those in the mail this week :)
How are you all feeling, by the way? I'd love to hear more of your thoughts about how the Patreon is going and what you are enjoying or not enjoying about what I'm releasing. I'm going a lot by likes/comments to judge how much people are enjoying particular things and whether I should focus more or less on them in the future, but I know that's not always the best indicator, so I'd love it if you all felt super comfortable sending me feedback any time you feel like it, especially any stuff you feel negatively about~ I wanna improve!

You're far more engaging than I expected you to be; there's extra posts and previews that you don't have to do, but do anyways. I'm loving them. You're honest about your work. The tutorials/progress breakdowns I greedily enjoy too. I'm very appreciative of the format you've picked as well, with the delayed release publicly, and I'm really glad you have an original project mixed in with your fanworks. As for what I enjoy personally, the most, I would say hearing about your process, seeing how you work, and of course everything Hannibal related (as it's your work that got me in to watching the series), with Sherlock being a not too close second. Although I originally found you through your Spirk artwork, so I should mention liking them too... and while this is completely out of left field, if you ever did more monstery male romance stuff, I'd be over the moon.

I was worried whether I should release everything for the month right away in big chunks or if I should spread them out, but I figured it would be more fun for everyone if I spread them out so they'd get lots of updates. I hope it doesn't end up getting frustrating that things are spread out like this!

I love ALL your artwork; tutorials and walkthroughs are fascinating, "The Dirt Crown" 'looks promising, I'm very excited about it (Ps: I'm in love with your color palette selection), "The bed day" is absolutely too pretty (they are so cute together <3).....and what can I say about "Wayfinding"? I'm a humongous fan of Hannibal...and this story is definetely going to make me cry. THIS is the season 4 we will never see ( I'm a very positive person...) and I'm so happy you created it! My favorite things from you are comics - no matter of pairing (even though I'm all in for Hannigram and Johnlock), as with your art and storytelling abilities I am sure I could enjoy them greatly even if the characters would be previously unknown to me.
