Fanart Tier ~ Lineart!

I'm gonna start putting up lineart sometimes for some pieces; you can feel free to download these and use them for practice, to give as gifts, etc. I have some requirements if you decide to post your colors up somewhere, as well as some tips on how to use these, so please read through the notes below~

Also if you do color these or any future ones, I'd love to see them pop up in my Patron feed!

What to expect:

I'm focusing on releasing mostly newer stuff, because my older lines are pretty sloppy and might be harder to color, but I know some people love my older stuff so I'm salvaging what I can~ Just expect some scribbles!

How to download:

I'm uploading these as transparent PNGs with no background, so the lines are preserved, which should be accessible by most programs. Just go to the top of this post and find the links, save them and then open them in or import them into your program of choice.

How to color:

If you're working digitally, the best way is to use layers. I use a soft brush for my lines so there is a lot of variation of opacity. Paint bucket doesn't really work well. I'd recommend flatting in shapes under the lines with a brush. I can provide a tutorial later on my coloring method with this type of lineart if many people have difficulty with it.

If you're working traditionally, I'd recommend flattening and resizing the image first so it's the right size for the paper you're planning to work on. Generally my lines hold up fairly well in a size-up since they're already a little blurry, but if you try to size them up too high or resize them multiple times they'll probably get too blurry to work with.

If you plan to use them as a guide and paint over them, my only note is to be careful you don't paint over the watermark, or that you preserve it in some way, if you intend to display the work online when you finish.

Requirements for posting online:

If you're coloring these just for yourself for practice, or to share only with friends in person, I have no requirements. You can do whatever you want to them. HOWEVER, if you plan to post them anywhere online, please follow these brief instructions:

•Leave my watermark intact and legible. Feel free to add your own signature as well.

•Please include credit for the linework to me in your comments and a link to my Tumblr or my Patreon.

•Don't post your works at full size; it makes them easier for others to steal! Size them down to around 800 px wide or lower.

•Please do not post the lineart alone anywhere else; it's only for Patrons to use. If you are a Patron and would like to share with a personal friend or two, that's fine, as long as they're aware of the requirements.

Thanks everyone!
