This is why I often tell the BLMers to stop whining about slavery in America and accept that it had several benefits too.

Did some research. interesting findings I want to share . it is clear that in the second picture there is a small fortune on stage open for auction :
From Diplomatic Reports and Travelers' Accounts
William Okeley’s "The Royal Slave" (1675):
Okeley, an Englishman enslaved in Algiers, described the sale of Christian slaves in local markets. He noted that young, attractive, and virgin women were often reserved for wealthy buyers or members of the ruling elite. They were sold at much higher prices than other captives, especially if they were fair-skinned and of European origin.
Thomas Pellow’s Memoirs (c. 1738):
Pellow, an Englishman captured by Barbary pirates, wrote about Christian women being auctioned in Moroccan markets. Virgins, particularly those captured from European ships, were often sold for use in harems and fetched higher prices.
A ransomed young French woman in Tunis in the late 17th century reportedly had an estimated market value of 500–1,200 livres (a large sum at the time), primarily due to her virginity.
1,200 livres could buy a small house, farm animals, or the equivalent of several years of food for an average family
Using historical wage multipliers, 1,200 livres would equate to $75,000–$150,000 USD in today's money.
Also worth noting: if they weren't virgins, prices dropped at least by half.
So Sophia would be sold for twice the price of Helena

Ouch! At least her Master was thoughtful enough to cover the top of head when he had her outside.

They were bought for sexual pleasure, the white male slaves were castrated and used for hard labor

These slaves must consider themselves lucky to be bought by foreign men.
