More signals are sent to her body through his saliva and his more intimate flavors and musk, telling her body for certain which mate is more powerful and worthy of siring children inside her. Her mind may not be aware of this chemical communication, but her body is.
In blind tests, women exposed to the chemical signals, scents, tastes, and pheromones of those "Alpha" male, respond more powerfully and report greater levels of arousal, than signals from all other racial types. The women could not explain why and were only told of the racial origins of each sample after the tests.
