"The Nurse of the blue eyes" Chapter 1

In the year 1920, after the Great War, a young English couple embarked on a journey they would never forget. Natalie, a beautiful woman of high birth, had left behind her life of luxury to become a nurse and marry Michael, a renowned doctor. Their marriage had been one of convenience as it was the only way Natalie could leave her family and find freedom. Together, they traveled to Sierra Leone, a land ravaged by poverty, violence, and an unknown disease that was devastating its people.
