Hello, brother! I can guarantee you christianity is the truth. Media distorts the gospel to sound like bullshit. I used to live in sin like lust,porn,maturbation, having all kinds of evil and bad thoughts, no self control, however after I read the gospel of John and believed in Jesus, God has transformed my life completely. That was 5 years ago. Now I live in purity, righteousness and pursue righteousness every day. Everyone is evil more or less, everyone has fallen short of the glory of God. That's why he send his eternal son to be born in human body to live sinless life, suffer, die and God raised him from the dead. To show that he has power over sin and death. Everyone who believes in Jesus will be resurrected(spiritual physical body- imperishable) on the last day that God has appointed for when his son returns on earth. All the questions you have can be answered. God's will is to believe in his son, there is nothing you can do of your own power to be saved.(unlike all other religions). Look up the shroud of turin which is Jesus's burial cloth. It cannot be explained by science, it's the most studied artifact. There was a burst of billions wats energy in less than 0.1seconds and it's embedded in the cloth(it forms Jesus's body in 3d) which we can study with modern technology. There is an enormous amount of evidence.
