Joshua and Richard I would say are straight males in a queer relationship. Sam is kind of a complicated case, every blessed of white child was female in the past, but in recorded history of Idyll Sam would be the first blessed of white being male. So Samuel would still have alot of feminine mannerisms and sensitivity defined being female to most. Samuel is comfortable with she/her pronouns, but in public people not knowing will give he/him ones. Sam goes through alot of turmoil with how society would view him though for the most part, the story will show the struggles though. ^^
