Yeah the previous Emperor was a certified pedo, the Empress Dowager got pregnant with the current Emperor when she was 10. Luckily he passed away 5 years ago shortly after Lishu joined the rear palace at 9y.o. leaving one victim less and the current Emperor is a lot more decent than his father. Now Lishu really is there just because of politics not because the Emperors "tastes" (I mean look at the concubines he actually had children with, his tastes clearly are different).

Ah-Duo really is pretty, right? Such a purple and elegant beauty. MaoMao is the best at putting b*tches in their place. At this point, MaoMao has the favor of 2 high consorts, the whole of The Jade Palace's residents, the quack, and Gaoshun and Jinshi. Someone once said this is now MaoMao's harem, and I kinda agree. Can't wait for more.
