That first trailer/preview you saw actually wasn't an animated short to the best of my knowledge (which isn't very vast so there's a 50% chance I'm wrong), but it doesn't have any spoilers unless you try to break it down. It came out 4 years ago and genshin theorists break it down even today because it's a preview for all ~8 of the major story quests to come, of which we've now gotten through 6 of them. So that trailer is set in the future haha

Which you deal with pretty well, but still I'm not too sure They're always trailers for the game's next story update. The game's currently past version 5 I believe, and just at version 2.3 (which I remember being there for) it'd be like over an hour, so they're also really long haha Maybe put up a YouTube community post/poll asking for it? Because admittedly I haven't seen past version trailer 3.0 and like I said it's at around 5.0 rn
