There’s an ova about Izumi’s training on Briggs mountain that I would love for you to watch(when you get the chance ofc) But I can’t find it online and it’s only on YouTube from others reactions apparently. You’d love it. Just a reminder, Japanese is not a gender heavy language. Words like watashi or boku may typically be feminine or masculine respectively, but for the most part it is gender neutral. So, translations and dubs may default to male if it’s supposed to be a mystery or the translations are a mistake. Like Crona from soul eater or how fairy tail called Selene and Nasha with he, when they’re females.
