I love how the show really doesn't try to make you pick sides in terms of who's in the right and in the wrong, like yeah it was framed by Winry that Ed has the moral edge but no viewer's really going to attack Al and go like "how could you say that to Ed" despite the heart tugging scene we saw where Ed's crying over thinking that Al may hate him, cuz Al's a 14 year old. Anything he has to think is probably valid and you just know he hadn't come to complete terms with his metal body and Barry really got in his head And also, the whole "we'd fight over who would marry Winry" scene is funny to me haha, normally in a lot of shows 2 characters talking like that would be a major plot point that would domineer a shipper's mindset and trajectory of thinking, like that moment would be huge, but once again... they're discussing the times when they were CHILDREN, it's 2 brothers callously talking, I love it I like the action/progression wise slower episodes
