"What if his sword was a flower and he had no muscles or tendons?" Dead. I've always disliked Kenpachi's fights past Soul Society. Such a one-dimensional character with no depth and massive plot armor.

2024-10-24 07:11:48 +0000 UTCSpoilers for anyone... Kenpachi was never in touch with his sword spirit, so that's why he never used shikai before. After his fight with Unohana, he finally heard his sword spirt's voice. Yachiru also appeared out of nowhere in that flash back, and when he asks where she came from, she touches the sword. It's implied he was so deaf to his sword and that he has so much spiritual energy, his sword spirit manifested as Yachiru. Also hints at it since she disappeared after he released his shikai and her outfit was on the ground.

2024-09-28 14:52:15 +0000 UTCKind of a bad explanation for Yachirus sword, pretty much the two other beings she spawns attack at a different speed to her own sword, one strikes before and one strikes after so you have to dodge all 3 strikes at varying speeds. In the flashback of yachiru and kenpachi, look at what she touches when he asks where she's from and why she had no name. Also why she just disappears when he finally uses shikai.
