The REAL Klaus is here!

Comments

Amen! :)

MICHELLE GONZALES

True.

MICHELLE GONZALES

Nina did a an interview recently saying she didn’t even get paid what the boys got paid, which is totally unfair!

Heatherlicious 82

Paul Wesley aka Stefan was friends with Joseph Morgan aka Klaus and the reason they used Alaric at first but Paul introduced Joseph to Julie and she made him Klaus- TO were only supposed to be on so many episodes or seasons but everyone loves TO so much on TVD so they decided to keep them permanently and the rest is history.

Heatherlicious 82

Klaus will be your favorite he is so petty and so funny

DeDe

The Real MF Klaus, GOAT ACTOR Joseph Morgan is here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

john segun doe

Hahahah Joe saying “you got that, just no more please” had me hollering 🤣🤣🤣 hahaha yall two different perspectives on team damon n team Stefan literally makes my day and I live to see the banter🩷🩷🩷 can’t wait for season 3

Princess W

I didn’t say he’s projecting trauma. He’s projecting his feelings/ his wants onto her. He’s overriding her will with his own. Repeatedly. Again Elijah knows Klaus better. He knew the witches who created the elixir 500 yrs ago. And he has a better plan than Damon. Which is kill Bonnie who may not even accomplish what she’s trying to achieve. Stefan respecting Elena’s choice isn’t a flaw. Do research, give her options and let her choose. It’s really not hard.

Montae Williams

Klaus is literally my favorite character, I'm so happy y'all getting to his era.

It’s Me Cherí

Season 3 around the corner, I can’t wait 🫠

A LOT of Damon coping and defending in the comments 😭😭😭😭😭 Also, to answer yall question of who specifically cursed Klaus, all we know for right now is that the witches cursed Klaus., according to Elijah.

Paynekiller96

Ahhhh yall are really getting into ittttt, I'm so hyped 😭 The Originals are difffffferenttttt and so far yall have only been semi introduced to Elijah and Klaus lol

Ha'ane Rose 🦋

This take is such a stretch. Damon shows time and time again that he doesn't respect Elena enough to let her make choices about her own life. Just because he loves her doesn't mean he gets to decide what is best for her, all for the sake of "keeping her safe". Everyone on this show loves Elena and wants her safe but they are not going to cross/violate all of her boundaries.

Vanessa Navarro

So excited for the Klaus introduction this episode 💯 my favorite male character in TVDU for sure

Nick

Damon doesn’t have the right to be “overprotective” over Elena. Tay’s right. He’s being possessive, controlling and impulsive (as always). He had time to research a backup plan to keep Elena alive should the sacrifice occur but he’s too arrogant to look into it. So far, Elijah hasn’t really done much to prove he isn’t worthy of trust. In comparison, Damon’s one of the most untrustworthy characters in this particular plot.

Montae Williams

Damon’s inner struggles shouldn’t be projected onto Elena though. He should keep it to himself and suffer in silence lol. Her love, her life, her body are her own. Who cares why Damon doing whatever he’s doing to keep her alive? He could’ve worked with Elijah researching the spell to keep her alive / revive her but he arrogantly thinks he knows better than a 1000 yr old vampire. He already admitted if it came down to it, he’ll let everyone die just to save her. She’s not okay with that. Stefan is respecting Elena and her autonomy. A concept too many people are having trouble with honoring even in today’s world. And he’s attempting to use the system/ritual to their benefit with the limited info he has. Reducing the amount of deaths as much as possible, especially when it comes to their circle of loved ones.

Montae Williams

Stefan is siding with Elena & indirectly with Elijah to reduce the amount of lives lost especially amongst the people she knows & loves. Damon needed to be checked - Elena can do what she wants to do with her life / body. His behavior is abusive & unacceptable. I hate the message it sends to young viewers. Poor Andy

Montae Williams

He’s not. I’m a psychologist and I disagree with this but Damon is suffering from CPTSD which could look similar on the surface with Borderline disorder but they’re not the same at all.

Mnewmoon

One thing that is so important about this show is that 50 to 60 percent of the scripts is body language and if you don’t know enough about how to read a certain facial expression you will not be able to understand most scenes or interpret them correctly. So many people misunderstand the scene where Stefan told Damon to back off. They misinterpreted because they don’t pay attention to Stefan’s facial expressions in this episode. First of all, there was a clear tension between Stefan and Damon from the start of the episode even before they found out what Elena did. There was a sense of hostility from Stefan toward Damon in this entire episode so where’s this tension coming from? It had everything to do with what happened the episode before. Damon literally stole Stefan’s thunder and played the hero so much better than him and he was the one who was able to keep Elena safe. Stefan didn’t like this at all and he started to feel insecure about his relationship all over again and he showed it completely in this episode. Every time Stefan feels insecure and he feels like he lose control of things, he resorts to use emotional manipulation to get the hang of things again. In the scene where Stefan told Damon that he will never have Elena’s respect is a clear evidence of that. Stefan knew how Damon was treated by his father we saw a glimpse of that in the flesh backs of S1 so he knew exactly where to hit Damon that hurts the most and he knew how to exploit Damon’s insecurities. He told Damon that he will never gain Elena’s respect just like how he never had their father’s respect reminding him he will always end up disappointing people around him just like how he was a disappointment to his father. That’s why the scene where Stefan told Damon to back off it was all about Damon and it had nothing to do with Elena, if you pay attention to Stefan’s face when he’s delivering that line, there’s a self righteous expression and more importantly there’s a sense of victory in his eyes the same expression he had throughout the entirely of this episode whenever he was talking to Damon, there is a little smirk and his eyes dilated. I would’ve agreed with you that he was standing up for Elena and wanted to make Damon respect her choices if Stefan didn’t have that expression on his face when he was talking to Damon. It was like he silently was telling Damon “you don’t get to decide about her, only I get to decide because I’m HER boyfriend not you” I get a very possessive attitude from Stefan in this episode and especially in this scene, kind of like Stefan was reminding Damon that he was the one that Elena loved back and essentially who won the competition. Funny thing is Stefan sees himself in a competition with Damon about Elena’s love but it’s one sided because Damon doesn’t look at it like this at all because that’s not how he loves. Damon understood Elena loves Stefan, he respects their relationship and chose to love Elena selflessly and unconditionally and protecting her in the shadows knowing she might never love him back, that’s why he doesn’t care if Elena would end up hating him for the things he has to do to keep her alive because all he cares about is seeing a smile on Elena’s face even if he’s not the one making her smile. As long as she’s alive and happy and that’s all that matters to him.

Mnewmoon

You guys got me agreeing with both y’all’s perspectives at the end, not sure who I agree with more 😂 honestly I’m both team Stefan and Damon at this point. I understand both characters and see why they act the way they do, why choose a team when both characters are great in their own ways 🤷🏻‍♂️

Nick

Yea u had a lot of info in that episode, & the second is the sister of Elijah witches the father & son & through the seasons u gonna find out why Damon is the way he is

Eduardo Sanchez

Today episode we learned Klaus been Around a thousand years. The older the vampire the stronger . We've met 500 year old vampires . Katherine was a tough fight for Stephen and Damon . Imagine how strong Klaus is .

Tjbosslyfe

Let Damon character develop a little more . He a work in progress . He's on the good team . Damon couldnt stay out of this if he wanted to . He could just leave town an let Stephen an Elena handle it . Which I wouldnt put much faith in Stephen saving the town .

Tjbosslyfe

Klaus an Elijah are so strong I can't tell if they Emotions are off . Or they so powerful they don't need to cut they emotions off . That's a theory I have thought to myself . But no way of knowing . Just something fun to think about .

Tjbosslyfe

Klaus line it was so long ago . It doesn't matter . Talking about they humanity. They been the bad guys for a thousand years .

Tjbosslyfe

Damon looks bad this episode. But he stay locked in . Damon working non- stop trying to save the entire group. An Stephen letting her go with a vampire he knows nothing about . Stephen is nice about everything. But is he smart . Does he let his feelings for Elena put the group in danger . Is the question ? I want somebody I care about protected by someone. Who will do anything to protect them . Stephen so considerate sometimes hes a liability.

Tjbosslyfe

Elena and Katherine were born about 500 years apart, so 500 years before Katherine another doppelganger was born and who ever that doppelganger is knew Klaus and Elijah, based on Elijah’s line about recognizing Katherine.

Ariana🥀

Omg I’m living for the shots y’all throw at Damon! It’s so irritating when reactors defend every single thing he does just because they like him.

Ariana🥀

The goat character here now

Caraxes🐐DT

This season finale bouta hit different

KadeTheGreat

Damon isn’t overstepping because of romance he’s overstepping because he’s the only one treating Elena like a girl who’s about to be sacrificed in a supernatural war. Stefan argues from relationship ethics. Damon argues from survival. He already accepted Elena chooses Stefan in 2x8, which is why it hurts contrary to popular belief Damon is NOT actively trying to seduce Elena he is trying to be better but he also has his struggles. His priority in this episode isn’t love it’s keeping her alive. Stefan saying “Elena made a choice and we need to respect it.” That sounds noble but it falls apart the second her choice involves certain death. Choices still have to be intelligent, informed, and survivable. Elena is emotionally compromised, guilt-driven, and willing to die. Respecting her choice blindly is the same as enabling self-sacrifice.

Ichigoat

KLAUS BBY WELCOME 😭😭🥰😘 Top 3 character (#1 for me). Literally any “bad”/“intimidating” move from now on that’s not from Klaus or Elijah is child’s play lol

Kenia Ortiz

Klaus is just top 3 charcters Mr aura himself

KadeTheGreat

Have been waiting for you guys to get to this episode!! I love the Klaus reveal!! I love how you love Elijah, that's Elijah daddy. Damon he's a complicated lad, but he's so out of pocket for his behavior, Elena isn't his girlfriend he's gotta stop overstepping boundaries like that, but I get it - he cares about her. If you guys binge watched to the season finale...we wouldn't be mad 😈 lol.

Loki

damon literally has borderline personality disorder

Freya

Klaus 😩🔥 my favorite villain to quote

Amal

The end discussion is so funny, clock itttt tay🙂‍↕️🙂‍↕️

tutu

Klaussss my babyyyy 💪🔥

Khior Dior

So dang good! They had a squad of writers for sure

Joel Minaya

I understand that! And I get why they feel how they feel. Seems since then they’ve grown apart/ lived very separate lives so naturally after 150 years things change. And Stefan wasn’t with it. I get WHY trust me, esp given Elena is Kats twin.

Joel Minaya

Tay to be fair, both brothers have already crossed that boundary when it comes to Katherine. They both competed for her affections. So it’s no different with Elena now lmao. They both have fallen for the same girl once more.

Amber Augustine

Damon is very overprotective when it comes to the woman he loves. In his perspective, He think she is putting herself in harm’s way by going to Elijah. Even though Elijah seems trustworthy, he had hidden intentions before. It makes sense why damon doesn’t trust Elijah like Elena does. You have to remember he is not the same as Stefan and they will have completely different outlooks on the situation. The way damon loves is different to how Stefan does.

Amber Augustine

Why is Stefan stalking a teenager girl because he can’t get over Katherine ?

House Targaryen

The fact a hybrid was introduced made this one of my favorite shows. Love the concept of it and if done right its amazing.

kingBD

Klaus is here! Hate to see my fav duo fight Defan over anything for me. We are so close to the end of S2 its insane. If you'll can pls react to eps 21 and 22 together its sooo good cant wait!

Andrea Dcosta

The reveal that klaus was hybrid had me tripping out the first time I watched this. It’s so scary that klaus has a werewolf and vampire side. He sounds impossible to defeat.

Amber Augustine

damon is so weird like as my brother why are you in love with my girlfriend…..? 💀 go find somebody else its over 8 billion ppl in the world

kai

the sun and the moon curse being fake was such a shocking reveal. It’s crazy that Klaus rewrote history so that two warring species can be on the hunt for the moonstone for centuries.

Amber Augustine

No they said the witches cursed him with leaving his werewolf side dormant. His father was a vampire he wouldn’t be able to curse someone.

Ahan Shankwalkar

I recommend rewatching the episode whenever you can to be more on top of it

Mani✨

Sure didn’t!

Joel Minaya

GAGGED lmao like whet 😂

Joel Minaya

So much! He lived up to the hype for sure!

Joel Minaya

SO GOOOOD!!

Joel Minaya

1 point for Team Stefan okurrrr!

Joel Minaya

He did his thing there!

Joel Minaya

Oh that would be cool in One Piece! He kills his character soooo convincing

Joel Minaya

Love where the story is going!

Joel Minaya

Lmaooo I had to make him feel it!

Joel Minaya

We get that but just helps to put things in perspective

Joel Minaya

Two very different types of love!

Joel Minaya

As for Stefan and Damon, I'll say that the way they love Elena is very different...but they both really do. Damon thinks that Elena's gonna get herself killed which is the last thing he wants and like he's said before, he doesn't mind being the bad guy and doing certain things he feels are necessary if it means that she stays alive. He doesn't trust Elijah and it's no surprise because he generally has major trust issues. In his mind, both Stefan and Elena are being very naive and stupid so he feels the need to take charge in this situation somehow. Stefan on the other hand wants to let Elena make her own decisions, trust and respect her which is good of course but not all the time. I mean yes Elijah at the moment comes off very noble and as someone who stays true to his word but he literally hunted Katherine for 500 years+ . He brutally murdered Trevor right in front of Rose for betraying him, he blew up a building Damon and Rose were in with a bunch of coins etc. so what's to say he's not bluffing about being able to save Elena or wanting to save her at all? I won't defend all of Damon's actions but I just want y'all to try and see it from his perspective. He's messy but with Elena he always means well. I don't wanna spoil anything so I'll just stop there for now lol...

ashley kuate

You can’t compare Damon and Stefan’s relationship to a normal human sibling relationship. Their dynamic has never been normal—even when they were human. They were both sleeping with Katherine at the same time and knew about it, lol. So comparing regular brothers to Damon and Stefan just doesn’t make sense.

House Targaryen

Wellz at the end of this one, he was fighting for his life, defending Damon from Tay's uppercuts. She made sure she got all her hits in while she could.🤣🤣

Klaus is the most evil character in television ngl 😭

House Targaryen

House Targaryen

Just delete this; even if youre warning them about the spoilers, why risk it, honestly?

FINALLY!! 🔥

Judea Freeman

Klaus is one of my favourite characters in TVD and my favourite in the originals! Can’t wait for you guys to see why

Nefertem Piankhi Menfesawe-Imani

I have to say, I don’t think I’ve ever seen an actor bring a villain to life as convincingly and brilliantly as Joseph Morgan does with Klaus. He is an absolutely phenomenal actor. You’re meant to hate his character, yet he plays him with so much depth and intensity that you end up loving him against your own will lol. Honestly, I would love to see him portray Doflamingo in the One Piece live-action series. That would be pure perfection. Even in these past few episodes, many of his mannerisms already remind me so much of Doflamingo. It feels like he was born to play this role. Someone tell Matt Owens to hire him already ASAP! 🤣

PandaaLe

Spoilers ....... So since we know the Witches were behind the "elixir" that would save the doppelganger, and we know in S3 the witches specifically want to sabatoge Klaus from making more hybrids by making them reliant on her blood/her surviving the sacrifice, that confirms Elena was going to die full-stop had she and Stefan relied on that elixir. Good thing that didn't happen.....😏

SpikesEcho

Let’s all give Paul Wesley a big kiss for suggestion Joseph Morgan for Klaus 😭🫡🔥 History was truly made

Jasmine Reigns

YASSSSS! ❤️❤️

Varonika Singer

Nobody could’ve played klaus better 🫡

Tony S

You guys were finally introduced to the Joseph Morgan he’s is the best actor in the whole verse. You guys aren’t ready for what’s to come. Klaus imo is the best villain in television history the way that Joseph played him was incredible.

House Targaryen

joseph morgannnm 😝

kai

Fun fact: They found Joseph Morgan to play Klaus Mikaelson after many failed auditions, with Paul Wesley (Stefan Salvatore) suggesting him, even though they'd met only once; Morgan's audition was so perfect, capturing Klaus's chilling charisma, that he got the iconic role. Thank u Paul!!!!!!😅🥰

Nyia

MY MAN MY HUSBAND IS HEREEEE

Łiv~Łiv

Omg love the damn twists in this show!!

Kim Cottingham

So much aura around Klaus I see why they had to hype him up for 18 episodes. Love him down!

ashley kuate

I will never forget the shock of the episode from Elijah. "The curse of the Sun & the Moon is fake.. doesn't exist." 😂😂😂 He was so tickled and I was gagged watching this episode for the first time lmaoo.

Melanin Ky

The build up to klaus was so good bc he doesn’t disappoint 🫡
