MY FAVORITE EPISODE OF THIS SEASON! Elena is coming in CLUTCHHHH

Comments

“Imagine he got madder and madder the more he came back” OH?

Divine Ada Oranu

My exact thoughts😂😂

♥️Azula4Life🔥

The originals is a must. I honestly prefer it more than TVD. You can definitely pass on legacies 😂

That boy a gilbert

They'll realize it soon enough. And if they do somehow end up watching it somehow cuz they have enough of a base to push for it then cool but also Yikes lol. Defo nowhere near TVD or TO in lore or storytelling and I mean OUT THE GATE lol. The Potential was SOOOO there but they dropped the ball it was corny from jump... imo at least, but also check the ratings which tend to agree with that sentiment as well.

john segun doe

lol no

Princess W

fun fact bonnie and jeremy’s first kiss was improvised by steven!! i remember him talking about it in an interview he did. imo it’s the best first kiss in the tvd universe

Km

dont watch legacies. tvd is top tier, the originals is top tier. legacies is bad. even if ur a fan of legacies u know its bad you just have a blindspot for it. its like naruto vs boruto. genuinely. u can like boruto but u know what it is. the originals is also a spin off, but many people (myself included) like it more than tvd. ive been watching yall for a while + rttv for even longer and wellz i think you would like the originals more than tvd, but still love both.

at all!! leave my very dear friend alone

This episode really shows that there is no "good brother" and "bad brother". They've both been the good one and bad one at different times in their very long lives. Elena just happened to meet them at a point in time when Stefan was in a "good" stage and Damon was in a "bad" stage.

Vanessa Navarro

Bonnie didn't do anything wrong. He lied to bonnie, he did a fake spell and knew elena was gonna die!!

Kim Cottingham

omg yas legacies!

nah

I think up until now it’s so obvious the narration that we started the show with, like Stefan is a “good brother” and Damon is a “bad brother” was simply not true and there’s so much more to these two characters that meets the eyes that putting them in to the categories of “good” and “bad”is a very shallow and immature take on the complexity of these characters. But now I want to talk about Stefan’s flaws actually, Stefan just like Damon has been written extremely complex and unlike Damon who’s flaws are so obvious and bold and right in your face, Stefan’s flaws are actually very subtle and hard to notice but if you look sharp enough you find many flaws and many unresolved psychological issues. First of all Stefan’s dishonesty is very apparent in his relationship with Elena. Stefan kept so many thing from Elena from the start of their relationship and it was always Elena who always finds out those hidden secrets that Stefan would’ve never told her. Stefan didn’t tell Elena that he’s vampire, Elena found it out herself, he didn’t tell her that she looks like Katherine again Elena found Katherine’s picture herself, Stefan didn’t tell Elena about his bloodlust issues until he literally was exposed to her and he didn’t tell her anything about his past and who he used to be and Elena again found it out herself, so every time Stefan talks about those hidden secrets, it’s because he has already been pushed to the corner otherwise he would’ve never talked about them. Also every time he’s forced to talk about it, he always claims to be truthful to Elena but he still would lie or hide a bit of the truth. Stefan’s wording in the scene when he was trying to explain his past for Elena is very interesting. He said “WE were angry with founders family” and “WE wanted revenge”, we as in Me and Damon, he was including Damon in his revenge towards founding families but when we actually saw the flashback we saw that not only wasn’t Damon involved but he also was trying to cover up for Stefan and protect him and it was only Stefan who was killing his way towards founding families as an act of revenge for Katherine, the same Stefan who claims he never loved Katherine. In this single scene alone, we can see many lies that Stefan has been telling not only to the characters but even to the viewers. It was obvious that Stefan didn’t tell Elena about Damon part of the flash back and the flashback was meant only for us viewers to see the truth and see through Stefan’s lies.

Mnewmoon

Seeing how Damon used to be in the flask back is very interesting when we compare it to how different he’s now, even his mannerisms and the way he carried himself was very different back then and that reminded me of what Katherine said in E7 of this season, -“what happened to you Damon? You used to be so sweet and polite” -“well that Damon died a long time ago” In that scene I thought maybe the death Damon was referring to was his literal death, the fact that he died and Turned in to a vampire but in this episode we saw that even after Damon was turned he was still acting decently and very much like his human self so what was Damon talking about? Did something else happened and Damon talked about a metaphorical death? It just makes us viewers more and more curious to find out more things about his past. Also one thing that I like to consider in this episode is that even tho it looks like Damon has changed so much since he was turned but in reality the change is only on the surface level but when we deep dive enough in his character we can see that Damon fundamentally hasn’t changed and who he is at his core stayed the same, he’s still that hopeless romantic who loves selflessly and unconditionally who is fiercely loyal to his loved ones and incredibly protective of them. The change are more about the shell he created around his heart and the mask he wears for outside world to protect that exact sweetness and soft heart that Katherine was talking about after being crushed time and time again. In another word, Damon has trust issues but not to the point of completely shutting down his heart so no one could get in, Damon built up walls around his heart not to push people away but to see who cares enough to bring them down and only then he would see that person worthy of his trust and safe to make bonds with. The scene between Damon and Lexi was also very interesting and Stefan doesn’t even know about that because while Stefan was under the impression that his brother hated him and didn’t want to have anything to do with him, Damon would still be worried about his little brother and he asked Lexi to help Stefan. You can see that this even shocked Lexi and like she was not expecting that the brother that the only thing she had been been hearing from Stefan is how much that brother hated him would say something like that. Damon might’ve been mad at him for what he had done to him but Damon would still care about Stefan and he didn’t want to see him struggle like that and Stefan didn’t even know about this and that makes you wonder, does Stefan really know Damon? The complex nature of Damon and Stefan relationship is one of the most intriguing aspects of this show.

Mnewmoon

Did you hear that … I WAS WORSE 🙂

Dwayne Townsend

Season 2 really is Elena’s season, she has a lot of great moments! Also can’t wait for you guys to start Originals, that show is gold 💯 💯

Tjbosslyfe

Alric is clutch with that stake to Alric at the dinner table . Team Damon 2 Elijah 0 . Damon an his friends will always get the job done . Elena 1 and 0 against Elijah. He really underestimating out group . I would be able to sleep good knowing Elijah was a down in my sellar .

Tjbosslyfe

I love how when you keep an eye on alaric at the dinner scene they never show his hand. The little things in this show is always so fun to see when u rewatch

Originals is good dont wacht legacies it will ruin tvd universe for you pls dont do it to yourselves😢😂

OsupNevaGz

When the Underworld reactions dropping?😮‍💨

Wandesimo

people make fun of elena but she brave a hell. I could never stab myself she crazy lmfao

Freya

Jeremy lowkey a DAWG! He 16 at most and bagging all the older baddies, Vicki, Anna, and Bonnie. Damon need to take lessons from Jeremy so he can stop compelling the girls' free will away 😭😭😭😭 finally gotta age appropriate love interest with Andi, and she pretty much a sex slave at this point and everybody just cool with it

Paynekiller96

Katherine always knows how to make a entrance lol. I loved the music they played for her in the shower scene.

KadeTheGreat

You guys can watch The Originals after you finish TVD Season 4 Episode 20 The Originals. or wait until you finish S4

House Targaryen

They need to start it after they finish S4

House Targaryen

Please‼️‼️

Kingtrey

Double drop👀👀

Kingtrey

yall would not like legacies at all. That show is so terrible. Majority of the fandom does not like it for a reason. 😭

Amber Augustine

“After what you did to Damon, you’re gonna need it more than me”. I love how Alaric knew that damon was definitely gonna take revenge on John for almost getting him killed.

Amber Augustine

When you think about it, all of them are taking crazy risks. ( No spoilers here; all moments are already seen by them.) Elena making the deal with Elijah in the first place, Stefan going to save Elena from Rose and telling Damon he's willing to risk dying to go save her, and even Caroline risking her life to help Tyler knowing that one bite would kill her... Jeremy going to Katherine to help Bonnie and almost died, Bonnie using her powers to help with spells risking her life and the list goes on and on, but all that to say, Damon not special tho 💀

Replay🍁

The Damon vs Stefan debate is strong in this episode's comment section, and it got me reading all the spiciness today🤣

Replay🍁

No lies detected here; I completely agree

Replay🍁

Elena was so brave to stab herself in the stomach for Elijah to be gullible and believe her. I love that she was able to outsmart Elijah and take down an original. I respect that about her so much. 😭

Amber Augustine

THANK YOU FOR TALKING ABOUT LUCA! its actually insane that bonnie channeled him without his consent after he showed her how, roofied him, kidnapped him, went deeper and deeper into his mind while he was begging her not to because elijah would kill him otherwise, and then she had caroline dump him in the bathroom stall like nothing?? and then her little ass lackey jeremy tries steppping to him when luca confronted them at the grill?? thats so wack and bonnie didnt deserve having her power stripped because that was also a violation, but like the dad said if anything happens to luca it will be as a result of bonnies actions.

Gianna

wasnt it a third time too? LMAO THEY ASKING FOR TROUBLE

Gianna

I like that damon is willing to take risks even if it fails. It’s way better than sitting around waiting for elena to get killed in the sacrifice. I admire he is doing whatever it takes to take down an original. I’m never mad at him for trying.

Amber Augustine

I really wish you both could have a day every week thats dedicated to giving one line/word spoilers BUT the thing is it has to be a like from TVD because that would be firee!

Kay McRae

Legacies was not worth it imo, honestly garbage if you asked me but if y’all wanna see for yourselves go for it 💀

Replay🍁

Originals great. Legacies is like the junior High to other 2 shows. It was horrible imo. To me I was pissed cuz it could've been so much better

Kim Cottingham

I LOVEEEEEE the Stefan backstory in these eps!!! It truly gave his character much needed depth and Paul Wesley SELLS THE SHIT OUT OF PLAYING EVERY SIDE OF STEFAN Nah but Fr that move from Elena WAS SOOOOOO GOATED. I remember loving that 4D chess move against Elijah. This was one of the peak Elena moments for me. Them comments Tay read were 100% correct. One of the reasons I love wathcin y'all is that not only do y'all pay attention to everything but y'all also catch on quick. ICL ive watched TVD like 4 times and still forgot how the ancestor Great Grandfather Johnathon Gilbert Survived after admitting in the journal that Stefan killed him. Lmao I was sitting there going just now going "how tf was he able to write that journal" until Wellz brilliantly put 2 and 2 together and guessed the ring. Gr8 reaction

john segun doe

y’all would hate legacies😭 even the originals isn’t as good as tvd lore wise, but the characters themselves make it worth the watch in the early seasons so i definitely recommend it.

Gianna

I agree I like tvd the most out of the 3 .. for that same reason … the originals for me is good but we already got most of the lore seemingly in tvd ..which made it rely heavy on the story.. which for me was a bit repetitive at times … legacies I could barely get thru honestly … the only thing that kept me going was being in love with the tvd World …but I liked the end better than the start

Dwayne Townsend

Definitely watch the originals , but dont wait until ur done with vampire diaries, start when u hit like season 4 or so

Serenity Monet

I watched The Originals and Legacies, but they weren’t really for me. There’s just too much craziness going on. What I loved about the early seasons of TVD was the lore and how they kept revealing new things and letting you discover everything along with the characters. Even though I love the Original family, the spin-offs still felt a bit over-the-top and even a little cringe to me.

Dragon8

Plot armor at its finest. Idc what no one says, it shouldn’t have been this easy for an 1000 year old ORIGINAL to get sneaked by Alaric & tricked by Elena. When Elijah woke up, he would have murded everyone in that house less than 30 secs and then go find Elena😐

Sak Chaser

they dumb ass hell lmao aint no way im finna cross that man a 2ND TIME after he just said he’ll agree 😭

kai

TVD timeline, it hasn’t even been a year since Damon killed Lexi. It was foul and honestly he’s lucky Stefan doesn’t bring it up more. He had a century long bond with her & she was the best influence in his life by far.

Montae Williams

I think it’s a mix between underestimating her and simply a lack of experience/ knowledge. They spent almost a 150 yrs just floating in existence 🤦🏾‍♀️. They learned nothing about legend & actual history. They could’ve learned so much from Pearl & Rose - such a shame

Montae Williams

Mind you he actually chilled out from season 1 🤣 Damon gets the job done everytime , Stefan sit down & listen to Elena plans & it goes to shit everytime

Ashley Cruz

i think u guys should watch Legacie it not the best but good to watch

Eduardo Sanchez

They really are 💗

Ashley Cruz

You guys are such a cute couple 😭❤️

JJ

Elijah saying he doesn't pursue younger women is so funny to me because he's speaking as if he has other options lmao

ashley kuate

Nahhh we need damon to take these risks and make these rash decisions to nip the bud in these problems and to get us more insight on what we’re dealing with. Without him, they never have any plan or any info lol. And most of the time he is the only one suspecting the right people☠️ so no, I dont want him to change lol, i enjoy him being a total menace 🤣

Itami

I mean 162 years of telling every little thing it takes time doesn’t take a few days to tell. And sometimes they may forget, unless it’s brought up.

Nyia

I get Jenna’s suspicions about Alaric omitting info but seriously, in her non-magical world it makes no sense for him to open up to her about it. He’s not supposed to leak anything regarding Isobel’s disappearance if it’s under active investigation. Even if he knows something. So she needs to chill.

Montae Williams

Yeah lexi’s disdain for damon later on makes little sense. Considering ripper stefan was a 1000x worse and she still found it in her heart to understand and help him

Itami

“I want you to know the truth” 7 months into the relationship🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Ashley Cruz

Flashbacks always gonna do it for me , love love love seeing Lexi 🥹 we hitting the tip of the iceberg yall 😅 shits about to hit the fan in these last episodes

Jasmine Reigns

I love the at you guys are living this lmao LETS GOOOO

Matt

See I can get with these , these Stefan fans literally make my HEAD HURT , they swear he never does no wrong & if they HAVE do admit he did something bad or wrong it comes with a MILLION excuses 🤣 I can take they’re both Grey characters who have done horrible things , cause I’m team Damon all the way but I can admit he was a menace , Stefan fans paint him as this honorable saint & he is not that , AT ALL ! The show just made Stefan look so good in the beginning & had Damon doing the bad stuff so it looks like he’s the “horrible brother”

Ashley Cruz

They would hate legacies 😭

House Targaryen

Also I'll never understand why Lexi had such disdain for Damon then. She met Stefan and immediately saw he had major issues and needed help, but didn't offer the same to his brother. I mean Damon was pretty justified in his anger towards Stefan considering his actions at the time...but he was far from evil

ashley kuate

Ikr😭just a little thanksgiving present

ashley kuate

Yes yall should definitely watch the spinoff legacies after the originals.

Natalie Hodges

I feel like we should get 16 and 17 tmr 😭❤️

Densieee💕.

The amount of times Damon or Stefan fall for Katherine's shenanigans is laughable. Like stop underestimating her.

Nyia

I’m team Damon but I always loved the flashbacks and how the roles were reversed between the brothers, like to me ripper Stefan is much more interesting to watch than moody sanctimonious Stefan. Even though Elijah is one of my favs, Elena did her thing by outsmarting an original! W ep.

Nyia

Stefan may have turned Damon into vampire, but Damon is in control of his own actions, just like how he chose to kill Lexi, and you can tell he was hurt when Stefan brought it up.

Chase

See this is why I honestly don't think Stefan is "good". Neither is Damon, they're both morally grey characters. We started this show when they were at different points in their life so it's easier to be harsher on Damon for his actions, but him now is literally Stefan then. Although it's been emphasized throughout the show that Stefan was actually worse than Damon...but anyways that's just me
