Bleach Episode 344 Reaction!

It honestly has to do with the trend of the story you know vs the one you don't. When you look at comparisons to story telling in other places, FFXIV, Doctor Who, Destiny 2, you'll notice a drop off/increase of complaints whenever the story that has been told for so long wraps up and the set up for the new story feels out of place. Aizen had been the main antagonist for pretty much all of bleach up until this point. combined with what could be seen as a natural conclusion to ichigo's story (minus missing backstory which is highly relevant in later content) so people naturally had hesitation and, well, discontent going into what was effectively uncharted territory. my own personal take was it felt like an odd arc with some odd pay offs but it got the story to the final arc which was solid enough, glad they finally got around to animating it, and allowing more expansions on the story, given Kubo's health issues in the final arc making things a bit... brief?

I think it was pretty cool and these early set up episodes are great imo but i dont blame people for how they felt. kinda hard to follow up aizen. really hope you enjoy this arc!
