Ichigo always had so much spiritual pressure from the start. We can see it since Ichigo sent that Menos Grande back to Hueco Mundo. The reason of Ichigo only using a small fraction of his power is because his Zanpakto limits Ichigo power. That's Zangetsu. He keeps Ichigo power in check and he really likes Ichigo and doesn't want him to be hurt. By having so much power attracts enemies and Ichigo might die. Zangetsu doesn't want that. So he limits Ichigo power. When Ichigo fought Zaraki he didn't get a power up out of nowhere. Zangetsu just released a bit more power from Ichigo huge reseve. Hope it helps a bit to understand why Ichigo is so strong. He always was from the start. But he's nerfed by Zangetsu.

2024-12-28 21:21:34 +0000 UTCi love this conversation between ichigo and unohana, really puts into perspective how much spiritual pressure ichigo has and how much its grown. back in the SS arc they could feel that he was on that captain level, if not very close to it. now after being killed twice and being in bankai for an extended period of time and fighting back to back really shows u how crazy ichigo is. experience is the only thing bro is lacking tbh before he becomes a real problem
