honestly i feel like light was getting way too cocky. With L he was hella more cautious, always thinking, being over dramatic in almost everything he did. But man really is shooting himself especially with the fake rules, i mean he got sussed out almost immediately and is not helping his case at all against near. personally i feel like he could've done well without that since he sorta would have always been under suspicion. I think the plan with giving the notebook to other people and having them do the work for him was a far better plan even if it could be problematic at times with their egos but i mean with patience i'm sure it would have been better than whatever this plan is.
