I still wonder whether Aqua-and by extension-goro’s feelings for Ai are that of as a woman, as a mother, or as an idol. Even more so how much of a distinction we need to place between them as individuals. The animation on this show doesn’t miss. There are hints and angles to be explored. I hope we get to the good meat soon
