Yumichika and Rangiku also have beef with their sword spirits. Rangiku's is a case of the pot calling the kettle black and Yumichika's is also that, vain and beauty obsessed, and he calls it by a nickname, pertaining to a color his sword dislikes.

There is also a side bleach novel where shuhei is one of the main characters and plays a huge role in the novel.
