Honestly, the thing about Suzaku's stubborn insistence about changing Britannia from the inside is that his dream of it was never going to be feasible, and even in the slim chance it was, most definitely not in his lifetime. Suzaku is cute, but that trait and his whole 'I sinned greatly, so I want to change this world and die, but the way I'm doing so is helping keep my people and others under a dictatorship that doesn't give two rats asses about who they hurt, kill, or enslave. I am powerless but I refuse to acknowledge it' BS was ALWAYS insufferable
