Damn, no end in sight in crazy, but I think so as well that there might be some remnants of ENDs power still inside natsu because that’s still technically who nastu is, it’s not like a borrowed power

2024-08-12 05:33:35 +0000 UTCThere is no end in sight for the manga, so I honestly wouldn't rule out an END return in some shape or form (because Mashima loves circling the wagons), but I think this had more to do with Ignia's flames influencing Natsu, and their overwhelming power. I don't think it's much of a spoiler to say that Ignia is far more powerful than Igneel, and without getting into any spoilers, Ignia might just be a touch insane...so...(pretty sure that was clear when he said he wanted to fight until one of them turned to charcoal lmao). I also wouldn't be surprised if down the line, we find out that even though Zeref, and the book of END are gone, a bit of that power remains inside Natsu, and that he may be able to tap into it like dragon force (which would explain the end of today's episode). We all know how Mashima likes to drop hints to something before revealing it 200 chapters later. IMO, Ignia made a critical mistake here, showing Natsu he can eat his flames to gain almost godlike powers. Whenever we get to their final showdown, it may bite him in his fine ass.

Honestly, you (jokingly) predicted about Nel being an arrancar, Nnitora's rank, and now this. You sure we don't need to start tallying up your pre-watching allegations? Jk! I enjoyed the small segments that come from the manga's bonus chapters. Which means you'll see THAT scene eventually! Can't wait for more, especially when we get back to whatever is happening at Fairy Tail

Literally died. On another note, I have been waiting to talk about Ignia for years, so yea! The true son of Igneel, and adoptive brother to Natsu, who is currently being a real (spoilers) in the manga. Seriously, though, the arc that is starting in the manga right now has the opportunity to blow all the others out of the water. We are cooking right now, with a whole lot of freaking fire. PS...the little clip at the start was a bonus chapter they decided to animate, it was so cute :)
