2024-10-10 22:34:31 +0000 UTCThere's so much lore into the Half-Blood Prince that wasn't included in the movie, which I think is a shame since it added much to Snape's character. Prince is his mother's maiden name, and she was from a pureblood family. She was outcasted from the Prince family when she married a muggle, hence the "Half-Blood Prince" name. His father was abusive so I always thought that Severus didn't like his father's surname and preferred his mother's instead. As many hits as this movie has, I think it has its misses. When that supposed plot twist of the Half-Blood Prince is revealed, the impact is quite temporary because the viewers don't know what the name means.

2024-10-05 02:24:01 +0000 UTCEvery time I rewatch the movie of Half-Blood Prince you can see how much joy is leaving Harryβs personality, like itβs really sad how much of Sirius Black Death affected him, especially in the books, he was thinking irrational, cause he was so angry, like going after Bellatrix even tho itβs clearly a trap, like poor Harry π’ and then just losing Dumbledore, like once they killed Sirius and Dumbledore, like you knew the series was coming to an end π
