That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime S3 Episode 15 Reaction!

Comments

Dragons, not to be confused with True Dragons, are one of the strongest races that exist in the world. They generally reside on and around the Great Canaat Mountains. Dragons, unlike True Dragons, are demi-material life-forms at birth. Although the two appear similar, they’re in essence closer to dinosaurs or large reptiles. There are 3 main types of dragons, lesser dragons, medium dragons, and archdragons. Their level is determined by the amount of magicules they possess and the strength of their dragon factor. A dragon can be born at any of these stages if there is enough factor involved in the process, but it is also possible to achieve a greater form by gathering magicules and evolving normally. Element dragons are archdragons that evolved and gained elemental powers similar to their dragon lord brethren. Although these element dragons are not as strong as dragon lords, they're still quite formidable Special A rank monsters that needs a platoon of Holy Knights to defeat one of it. The Treants are a race that hardly moves. Thus, they have little interaction with other races. They survive on water, sunlight, magicules, and air alone. They are protected by their guardian spirits, the dryads. The Treants shape themselves like a male, while the Dryads shape themselves like females. They produce magical fruits called Dried Treants which are considered delicacies and when dehydrated will never go bad. These fruits have enough magical energy to feed an individual for 7 days. Dryads are elemental spirits that have incarnated into plant life, their vessels known as "Dryas trees." They rank near the top of A rank, with some of the stronger ones among them reaching Special A. They are immortal, and only rarely leave their sacred dwellings. They're heralded by some as the wardens of the whole Jura Forest, the one who exact divine punishment upon those who damage the forest. Being the servants of the Spirit Queen, they have a close affinity with other spirits and are able to summon their powers in battle, making them formidable opponents. Dryas trees are sacred vessels in the form of giant trees that house the souls of the dryads. It can be considered their true form or material body, from which they temporarily project their spiritual body into a temporary magic body to interact with others. Dryas doll dryads are the result of a dryad's material body β€” the Dryas tree β€” being carved into a doll. This isn't a typical evolution but rather a change in status, allowing the dryad to move around freely without relying on a temporary magic body. All of the dolls produced by Rimuru Tempest are additionally modified with a chaos core, doubling the dryad's energy levels. Those Dryas doll dryads all rank at Special A, but it is possible for them to reach S.

Skipped content from the light novel: - Rimuru commented on dragons and how they are kins to Veldora, which makes both Milim and Veldora protest that dragons and True Dragons have no similarity whatsoever. This is a fact of the world that True Dragons are literally concepts of the World while dragons are essentially just overgrown lizards. - Milim explains that in order to change terrains, you will need at least an archdragon or higher. - Dragon Lords are proud and impossible to tame, so Milim proposed a plan to hunt Element dragons instead who are almost about to evolve into Dragon Lords. - Milim was trying to study about ruling a country, but she escaped Frey's lectures by making an excuse that she was watching over the domain. - Abiru was supposed to have evolved into a human form after Rimuru's evolution to demon lord - Gobemon, who was tasked at secretly protecting Mjourmiles on the road, lost his arm on a battle against a monster sent by Kazac. Even though Myourmiles arrived safe, he considered this a failure because he revealed his presence and refused to regrow his arm. - Rimuru criticized this mindset and said that Gobta's ability to depend on and trust his allies were what made him better suited for leadership than Gobemon. He still received his reward for completing the task. - Rigurd actually made some [strict measures] to make sure the Gozu and Mezu behaved in front of Rimuru. - Rimuru actually figured who the father of those 3 delinquents was right after they met. Well, like 95% sure before it was confirmed. (And without Raphael.) - Some of the Elves that "went to get work/money" are actually the Elfs from Dwargon who worked in that Bar we saw in Season 1 Episode 4. More in the following Comment.

you're probably right but Tensura is already the best selling Japanese Light Novel series of all time. I do not think they need to make the world building and foreshadowing of the anime objectively worse to increase popularity. And I don't think that plan even works because people who have only seen the anime have no way of knowing that they are missing info like this unless someone who has read the novels tells them. And then once they are told, they do not need to read the novels because they have the info. Overall, they have been very faithful to the novels this season but then leave out something major like that? It is contradictory to me. The people who are going to buy the Light Novels in the west are those that think the story is good enough to warrant an investment and want to support it. The better they make the anime by including all the world building and foreshadowing from the novels, the more people will want to read more. They will drum up less interest by making the anime worse.

I think its pretty simple why they left out stuff like this.. they want the People to buy the Light Novels if they want to learn more.. in Japan its usually no Problem since the People there are often more willing to just go into the next Bookstore (or buy them online as Ebooks) whereas in the west, while the Fanbase for Light Novels grows more and more, its still not as well known or heavily frowned upon by many (same as with Manga) or what also happens often, we get Anime Adaptions from Light Novel based Storys that dont have a English Translation (and most likely will never see one, especially Storys that Alphapolis for example publishes)

NAHHHHHHH dude wtf how could they skip Veldora's explanation about his older brother and True Dragons vs regular dragons????? I swear man sometimes this anime chooses to leave out some of the coolest and most important pieces of world building info for absolutely no reason. It would've taken like 1 minute to include, I do not understand them cutting it... Another classic example of Rimuru constantly underestimating himself and his subordinates... It baffles me that he could think someone with Shion's abilities would lose to those three, Benimaru knew that they were no match for him or Shion. I swear Raphael needs to speak up more and talk some sense into our slime lol
