S3 was super lacking in direction it felt like a huge cluster and I do agree the fast pacing gets crazy at times especially when they're introducing hella new characters mainly on the CCG side. There's always a bunch of new investigators that I forget because they show up for two episodes then die or they don't show up till later on. But I have hopes for this season based on this episode

2024-07-12 23:18:00 +0000 UTCbro u hit the nail right on the head! a sense of direction! i feel like thats the perfect way to describe a majority of season 3. it does feel like its lacking direction at times. everything with the tokyo ghoul anime is suffers from that fast pacing. i think its a great story! i just wish they would slow down a bit and give a little more attention to kaneki and the overall story, i feel like most of the side characters have their stories handled pretty well
