After worshipping Roxy the Goddess of Wisdom for 11-12 years Mylphie the Goddess of Love has ascended to the pantheon of Rudy's faith (well technically he already added a relic of her to the shrine in the first episode of this cour). Jokes aside I love the callbacks to earlier episodes they added here (some even anime original) For instance: Sylphie mentioned early on in the season that she will be growing out her hair (well this doesn't really fit as "callback" but I think it's nice the anime already did it, considering it's been like 8 month since she said that, instead of waiting for Season 3, where this hairstyle first appears according to the LN) Sylphie is wearing the earrings that Rudy bought for her when he went shopping with Aisha earlier the season. Norn training with Rudy and taking out her pent up feelings is basically mirroring Paul training with Rudy in ep.4 of Season 1, with Paul taking out his frustration on Rudy about getting him into even deeper shit to make sure Zenith accepts Lillia and Aisha as part of the family. Lucy's birth is very reminiscent of Rudy's own birth in ep.1 of Season 1. (By the way to explain how the name came to be they took the , so the Ru (ル) from Rudeus (ルーデウス) and the Shi (シ) from Sylphiette [Shirufietto (シルフィエット)] to make Rūshī (ルーシー) which if properly translated is Lucy.)
