Late comment but typically it’s the first born sons who are named Aegon. Not always but I’ve noticed that to be a pattern

2025-05-11 18:37:50 +0000 UTCThis is my 3rd watch-through and Rhaenyra is a spoiled brat! Simple. I felt differently my 1st time watching this but she deadass wanted her Pop's to merry a 12 yo little girl over Allison(His hands daughter)just cause she's ur friend? and Allison definitely wasn't thinking about Viserys that way she's simply doing what she was told. This chick is wayyyyyy outta pocket.

2024-02-28 10:13:43 +0000 UTCI feel like episode three showing how comfortable she’s gotten being queen and talking with Viserys so casually can paint a picture of her enjoying being queen. Especially the scene where she overrides Rhaenyra’s commands for the musician. But I do not think she was ever self interested when she began seeing Viserys. She just couldn’t go against her father

2024-02-24 22:22:23 +0000 UTCOh Tay, you have no idea how many Aegon's there have really been. The sneaky thing Otto and his Hightower brother did here, was calling baby Aegon "second of his name" but only kings get that "___ of his name" title. Princes don't have that added to their titles until they sit the iron throne. It was a subtle hint of who the Hightowers want to be the next heir and king.

2024-02-24 21:59:42 +0000 UTCI 100% agree with Joel on Theon discussion the only reason. Ned basically raised him more like a son than he did with Jon. And if y’all go back to Season 1 only two characters I recall that took shots at him reminding Theon was wasn’t a Stark or he just a prisoner which was Robb and Tyrion. (Taylor favorite characters )???

2024-02-24 19:51:04 +0000 UTCThe first half is good but the second half is great. Loved this episode though, it shows us who Jon and Dany get their energy from.

2024-02-24 18:09:36 +0000 UTCSo I’m curious Joe. And maybe I’m asking this a little early since you’re only 3 episodes in but I’m curious has your view on any of the main characters or anything about the storyline or show in general changed at all compared to your first watch?

2024-02-24 17:49:12 +0000 UTC“this whole thing could’ve been avoided, now you made it messy” the theme for this entire show lol

2024-02-24 16:24:52 +0000 UTCThe relationship between Rhaenyra and Viserys is honestly one of my favorites to watch. There’s so much complexity and miscommunication, but at the end of the day you can tell they love eachother so much.

2024-02-24 15:49:59 +0000 UTCJoel, you’re right! Aegon the conqueror was married to his two sister wives when he conquered the seven kingdoms 100 ish years prior to this show.
