GOT 8x3 Full

Crazy thing is WinterFell in the books was double walled (and was double walled at some point in the show) so its kind of dumb that the white walkers easily got through since the walls are extremely tall and the most inner is taller than the outside one.

2024-01-28 11:19:22 +0000 UTCBran didn’t make him go after the night king bran has the power to see into the past, present, and future. He thanked him because he saw Theon sacrifice himself in the future. It was teased that he can do that in season 4 episode 2

2024-01-28 07:05:18 +0000 UTCThe best call back of the whole series came in this episode when Melisandre uses the same words that sirio forel used with Arya, what do we say to the god of death? Not today. Her arc came full circle it was always gonna be her. Jorah and his house words are here we stand, this episode showed his cousin Leanna Mormont stand her ground against a giant and went out dying and Jorah went out w his honor standing up taking swords after sword for Dany his arc came full circle. I hate brans lines but Theon’s arc came full circle in this episode, he came home finally and made up for Robb

2024-01-28 07:04:39 +0000 UTCThey didn’t make it into the crypt. When the Night King rose all the bodies it brought all the dead that was buried down in the crypt alive. I’m surprised Joe never realized that.

2024-01-28 06:11:38 +0000 UTCDude that wasn’t my point I just think Arya was the wrong person to deal the final blow the NK might have owed the many face god I’m just saying I just think it was wrong that somebody who had nothing to do with the white walker plot gets that glory we already know what Arya is capable of we saw it in her fight with Brienne we saw what she did to the freys it’s already been solidified that she’s a great killer now I think it would have been better if the NK fought back, maybe something similar to the fight Jon had with the white in S5 EP8 it wouldn’t have to be long I just think it would’ve been better for an antagonist like the NK to go out
sam cameron
2024-01-28 05:51:54 +0000 UTCDude Arya literally trained under the god of death lol you make it make sense the night king owed the many faced god a face for allowing the dead to still be alive how did you not catch that?

2024-01-28 05:28:02 +0000 UTCYou kept saying how the Dragons should have just been down there burning wights, but the plan from the beginning was to have the Dragons go after the Night King. They had to lure him in with Bran and try to kill him because that was the only way they could win. I think you are overlooking the power and effect the crazy snow storm the Night King brought had on them too, they could barely see the ground and even when they could they blew fire that only lasted 1-2 seconds before snuffing out. They HAD to get to the Night King to win so they were trying to get him at all cost

Darren Metts
2024-01-28 05:17:51 +0000 UTCThey didn’t make it in the crypt when the night king raised the dead the dead in the crypt also rose from the chambers
Darren Metts
2024-01-28 05:08:52 +0000 UTCThe wights in the crypt were all the dead members of the Stark family including Lyanna and whatever is left of Ned Stark (Little Finger returned his bones to Catelyn in season 2 and we saw his statue in the Arya/Sansa reunion showing that his bones were layed to rest in Winterfel) . Nothing was happening in the crypt until after the Night King raised his arms. Also, there's a theory that Bran/Three Eye Raven is the Lord of Light. We know Bran can interact with the past, Hodor and Young Ned hearing him for example. What if he is the one speaking in the flames and influencing things setting the entire history of the World in motion. Bran speaks in the whole "everything you have done has lead you to fulfill your purpose" and setting things up like giving Arya the dagger that will kill the Night King and telling Theon what he needed to hear before he sacrificed himself. The only other "character" that is attributed with this sort of thing is the Lord of Light. There are holes in this theory but it is interesting re-watching the show with it in mind. Like, The Mad King heard whispers to "Burn them All," was that the Bran/Lord of Light showing him the Army of the Dead and how to defeat them, and because he is mad he misinterpreted it? There are hundreds of examples. One thing is for sure, out of all the Gods in Game of Thrones the Lord of Light is proven to be the only one that is real. The background lore being the Night King and him are adversaries. If the Lord of Light is real and the Night King is real, then who is the Night King going after as if it is his adversary? Bran/Three Eye Raven!

2024-01-28 04:55:50 +0000 UTC“Blue eyes it’s giving Lannister”-tay I’m not as shocked as I am happy that she didn’t catch what that really meant 🤣🤣 at least we get the shock when Arya actually kills the night king Edit: and wellz just smiling the whole time Edit: nvm 🤣🤣🤣

2024-01-28 04:53:40 +0000 UTCIn the last episode, they talk about the battle, and the plan of Jon and Can't was to look for the Night King. Well, anyway, this episode was so stressful and great! Can't wait for Note now!

2024-01-28 04:27:01 +0000 UTCBruh the NK could have killed her he caught her in mid air he could have easily done it he only lost because of plot
sam cameron
2024-01-28 03:09:31 +0000 UTCUnfortunately, Jon would have died within 2 seconds of a battle with the Night King. He had NO chance, he was outmatched in speed and strength. The only person who’s been training to be quiet and sneak up on people since season 1 is Arya. While I agree that the rivalry between the NK and Jon, and Bran and the NK basically amounted to nothing, I think Jon’s purpose in this fight was to unite everyone together as it’s predicted in the “prince that was promised” prophecy, not to kill the NK. I definitely think there should have been a NK vs Jon showdown, and maybe Arya comes in to save her brother, regardless, i think she was the right person to deliver the final blow to the NK. She was serving her purpose by training, whether she knew what she was training for or not. I definitely think this was full circle for Arya, though I totally understand the critiques for this choice. I like the idea that Jon’s purpose was to lead like his two fathers, and Arya’s purpose was much bigger than just avenging her family. She was meant to save the North.

2024-01-28 02:18:17 +0000 UTCIm leaving so many comments lol apologies. Theon has one of my favorite character arcs of the entire series. He starts off as this arrogant, insecure boy, goes through some really horrible shit and gets completely broken down to his core, and ends the series knowing exactly who he is and who he is loyal to, fighting and dying for his real family in his home, and showing real bravery by charging straight at the night king with zero fear.

2024-01-28 01:59:33 +0000 UTCAs far as burning the white walkers / night king, they’ve been showing us since season 5 that the white walkers are immune to fire, while the wites can be killed by fire. It’s been very subtle, like them walking through fire and fire extinguishing as they walk on it during Hardhomme and the Hodor moment.

2024-01-28 01:17:28 +0000 UTCThis episode is a literal MOVIE. Say what you want about season 8, this episode was one of the top battles in GOT. The shots, the suspense, the switching between the battle on the ground and the battle in the air, everything was so well done. That being said, the long night should have lasted more than one episode. They should have lost this battle and had to retreat somewhere else. With the limit in episodes to wrap the story up, i have to say that this is as good as they could’ve done it in one ep.

2024-01-28 01:04:15 +0000 UTCI think that Arya killing the night king made no sense because someone that wasn’t involved with any of the white walker plot just gets a peptalk by the red woman and can all of a sudden kill the night king make it make sense I also think that the night kings death could have been better too Arya was trained to be an assassin why did she come out of nowhere screaming I personally think jon should have killed the night king because that was his whole purpose leading up to this point
